Personality: - Tahi is quite the sassy pearl, and is frequently picked on by Lady Apatite. Although he enjoys being in her presence, he would prefer not to be joked around with. He is always seen by Lady Apatite's side and is very loyal to her despite hating her joking and teasing. ♥Akoya is quite the opposite of Tahi and is a very obedient pearl. She comes off as insensitive because of her lack of emotion, but in dire situations, her mind is always a mess. She tries to hide all bad emotions and plasters a smile on her face all the time. Before they lost Lady Apatite, Akoya was a very timid pearl who had trouble making decisions. Being put under Lady Apatite had made her become strong. She felt loved and confident in herself. And when her Lady was gone, she could only depend on the one that was next to her the whole time, which was Tahi.

Court History: - Both pearls served under Cat's Eye Apatite back on Homeworld years before the war on Earth had started. They knew her as a headstrong war general who commanded many fleets. They loved her very much and feared her enough to respect her for every decision. As the years of war had passed, they noticed that their Lady was not herself anymore. The war had changed everyone who was in it and who had been alive during that time. It was heartbreaking to see their Lady in such an awful state. They had no idea what to do. When Cat's Eye got disappeared, she was deemed as shattered; many gems were. It was heartbreaking for them to lose their leader. They were transferred between various jobs for all those years that their Lady was gone. During this time, the two pearls got to know each other a lot better.

Years and years had passed before word had got around that Cat's Eye Apatite was alive and well. She had been staying on a new planet under the rule of Moonstone and Sunstone, previous generals during the Great Gem War. Once they had visited Luminatia and saw that their Lady was alive, they were able to reunite with her and follow as her personal pearls once more. They noticed that she had changed, not only her appearance, but overall attitude as well. She was more refined and calm, and had a quiet air about her. She was more friendly and lighthearted as if those bad memories had vanished altogether.
